From hand-cranked to fully automatic, the development of washing machines.

In 1858, the American Hamilton Smith made the world's first washing machine. According to records, the main part of this washing machine is a drum containing a straight shaft with paddle-like leaves, and the shaft is rotated by shaking a crank attached to it. It is a pity that this washing machine is not widely used because it is more laborious to use and does more damage to clothes. In 1874, American Bill Blacks invented a wooden hand-crank washing machine. Its structure is relatively simple. It mainly installs blades in the wooden cylinder, and uses the handle and gear drive to turn the clothes in the cylinder to achieve the purpose of cleaning the clothes. Then steam washing machines, hydraulic washing machines, and gas-powered washing machines came out one after another.
